WORLD'S BUSIEST AIRPORT,LONDON

London Heathrow Airport is situated west of London on the M4. Heathrow is the world's busiest international airport and the world's second busiest cargo port. There are over 90 airlines based at Heathrow Airport, all providing flights to both international and domestic destinations.
London Heathrow Airport has four main terminals, and there are plans to build a fifth to relieve pressure on the already very busy Terminal 1. The airport operates a host of passenger facilities and transportation options; all of these can be seen by clicking on the links to the left.
Heathrow is the world's busiest international airport. Regarded as the hub of the aviation world, over 90 airlines have made Heathrow their base.
Number of terminals : four (Terminals 1, 2, 3 & 4)
Number of passengers : 64 million
Number of airlines : over 90
Number of destinations : approximately 170
Number of runways: two main, plus a cross wind runway Serving over 64 million passengers each year, flying to over 170 destinations in 90 countries, London Heathrow is the World's busiest international gateway. However, its size also has meant that it has constantly expanded beyond its original boundaries, and despite BAA investing some ?1million per day in improving facilities, Heathrow remains one of the most disliked places in the UK. This need not be a huge problem, as the Heathrow Express will speed you into the East End of London in just 15 minutes - whipping ?12 each way from your wallet in the process. Official name: London Heathrow International Airport IATA Code: LHR Owned by: BAA

Oh dear! However many times you repeat the false claim, Heathrow is not the "world's busiest international airport", and certainly not "the world's busiest airport", as the headline suggests. The world's busiest Airport in terms of passenger traffic is Hartfield, Atlanta, followed by Chicago O'Hare. London Heathrow is only in third place. Last time I checked, Atalanta and Chicago were international airports, so Heathrow is not "the world's busiest international airport". It is, merely, the airport with the most international passenger traffic.

You could also have done better than just copying BAA's marketing drivel, such as "regarded as the hub of international air travel" which is utter nonsense, because other airports like Frankfurt, actually have more international destinations than Heathrow. Neither have "90 airlines made their base" at Heathrow. I have never heard such utter nonsense. Since when does an airline make its base at an airport that it simply flies to as a destination?

I wish BAA would focus more on improving passenger service at Heathrow rather than spouting ridiculously false marketing drivel.
